Attention myCGS Users

In an effort to ensure myCGS users are compliant with updated Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) security requirements, account recertification will be required to be completed every 90 days beginning on 02/01/2018. As with the existing recertification process, failure to complete the process timely will result in an interruption of service including deactivation.

myCGS Recertification:

CGS will be changing the timeframe when we ask you to complete the profile verification and the account recertification. To align with security rules, we are changing the timeframe from every 180 days to 90 days.

  • This upcoming change impacts provider administrators who perform account recertification in the portal
    • The CGS Account Recertification process is done to verify all users under the admin
  • Recertification Reminder - Notification will be sent out within 47 days from the due date of your myCGS recertification acknowledging that records indicate you are due to recertify user access to your account in myCGS.
    • Example of notification - To retain access to your myCGS account, you must complete the recertification process within the next 47 days or it will be terminated on 02/01/2018.
