NEW ACE Informational Edit Informs You of YOUR Approaching Revalidation Requirement

Medicare providers must revalidate their enrollment record information every three or five years. Remembering when to revalidate can be difficult and CGS wants to help!  Therefore, effective October 31, 2019, we will have an ACE informational edit to remind you of your approaching revalidation requirement!

The revalidation informational message will appear on your 277CA claim rejection report and it will inform you of your upcoming revalidation requirement. This edit is part of the exciting Advance Communication Engine (ACE) smart edits system. ACE is available to all electronic claim submitters at no cost and there are no downloads or software required. You receive ACE smart edit messages along with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) edits you already receive. Please communicate with your clearinghouse to ensure you are able to receive a full 277CA report to include ACE edits.
