Obtaining Offset Information

To obtain details on an overpayment, you are reminded that our Interactive Voice Response (IVR) system is a great resource.  To obtain offset information:

  • Call the IVR at 1.866.290.4036
  • Select option 3 (financial information) from the main menu
  • Select option 4 to obtain offset information
  • When prompted, you will need to enter the Financial Control Number (FCN) of the original overpaid claim. The FCN is located on the Medicare Remittance Advice.

The IVR will provide:

  • The patient account number
  • Date(s) of service
  • Line by line detailed information of the overpaid claim
