Waiver of Liability

You assume all risks associated with, resulting from, or arising in connection with, attendance at and/or participation, in any capacity, in the Workshop or any Workshop-related activities, including, without limitation, all risks of theft, loss, harm, damage, illness or sickness (including those caused by known or unknown infectious or communicable disease such as COVID, H1N1, or other illness or sickness caused by bacteria, fungi, microorganisms or viruses), or injury to the person (including death) or property damage, whether caused by negligence, intentional act, accident, act of God, or otherwise, and whether occurring before, during or after the Workshop.

You further agree that neither CGS nor its agents, officers, directors, members, contractors or employees shall be liable for illness, sickness or injuries to the person (including death) or loss or damage to property resulting from, occurring at or arising out of the Workshop or Workshop-related activities, including but not limited to any education sessions presented in connection with the Workshop, or for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, punitive, or exemplary damages. You further release and discharge such persons and entities from, and covenant not to sue such persons and entities with respect to, all risks, injuries, losses, damages, and liabilities described herein. You further agree that the maximum liability of CGS to you arising from your registration, participation, and attendance at the Workshop shall be the return of your fees paid to CGS.

Videotapes and Recordings of CGS Education and Training Activities

CGS does not allow its education and training activities to be videotaped or recorded.

Workshop Refund Policy

For all CGS scheduled educational events where a charge is applied, the fee is used to offset the cost of the meeting room and equipment rental. In the event you must cancel your registration, you may do so up to ten (10) business days prior to the educational event and receive a full refund.

If you need to cancel less than ten (10) business days prior to the event, you will be eligible to receive a partial refund. We encourage you to send a substitute from your organization when possible.

Please note: CGS reserves the right to cancel an event if registration is insufficient. If we must cancel due to lack of participation, we will notify all registrants at least 48 hours before the date of the event and return the fee for that cancelled event.
