Jurisdiction 15 Home Health & Hospice Provider Outreach and Education (POE) Advisory Group

Medicare Contractor Beneficiary and Provider Communications Manual, Pub. 100-09, §20.6.1External PDF

The primary function of the Advisory Group is to assist CGS in creating, reviewing and implementing provider education strategies and efforts. Non-Advisory Group members can be involved and provide input into the education that CGS conducts by contacting an Advisory Group member and suggesting educational ideas and topics.

The Advisory Group is composed of various representatives, including professional associations, providers and their staff, and encompasses both rural and urban geographic locations. Group membership selection varies dependent on the provider type. The membership will consist of a two year commitment. CGS has created the Provider Outreach & Education Advisory Group CovenantPDF that summarizes the purpose and goals of the group. The covenant also details the responsibilities of CGS as the MAC and you as an active member.
