Attention HHH EDI Providers! Questions and Responses

Will we be getting audit reports from CGS?

No. GPNet does not issue audit reports, however all files submitted that generate an ANSI 997 Acknowledgement will receive a GPNet Claim Acceptance Response in either a report or file format. A Compliance report is generated when a claim is not syntactically correct. Claims noted with a REJECTED status should be resubmitted. (see page 17 of the GPNet Communications Manual)

When we we receive our 835s or Remits (Electronic Remittance Notice)?

CGS will release ERNs (835s) at 1pm CST daily, which may be different then Cahaba GBA's schedule.

Cahaba GBA ran their last payment cycle June 10, 2011 and will issue payments from that cycle. CGS will begin payment cycles on June 13, 2011 and will issue payments according to the normal payment cycle of 14 days for electronic submission and 29 days for paper submission. EFTs were deposited, and checks were mailed out of the first cycle on Tuesday, 6/14. However, due to a system issue, 835s that were produced out of the first cycle will be distributed Wednesday, 6/15 (instead of Tuesday 6/14.) 835s are processed and delivered throughout the day, starting at 1pm EST and all are usually completely delivered by 6pm EST.

Questions on RAP (Requests for anticipated payments) should be directed to Customer Service at 877.299.4500 for Home Health Complex or 866.539.5592 for Hospice Complex inquiries.

I am receiving an error "invalid intermediary" what should I do?

Your intermediary number or Contractor ID needs to be changed to the new CGS ID 15004, this should allow you access to CGS.

My GPNet password does not work even I early boarded?

All HH&H Providers should have received a letter that included a new GPNet password. Please use that password given. If you are still experiencing password issues, contact the CGS EDI Help desk to be reset at 866.758.5666.
