April 2023 Release "Dark Days” for the CWF Host
To accommodate the anticipated duration to install the April 2023 release, the Common Working File (CWF) Host will observe a Gray Day on Thursday, March 30th and Dark Days on Friday, March 31st through Sunday, April 2nd.
What this means to you:
- It is customary for contractors to hold claims for several days following a quarterly release. Claims submitted during this period will not continue to process until the nightly system cycle runs on Tuesday, April 4th.
- We anticipate claims will still process within a normal timeframe and these slight delays will not affect the timeliness of your payments.
- You can still access beneficiary eligibility information through the myCGS portal or the Interactive Voice Response (IVR) system, but the information will not update during the dark day period.
Home Health and Hospice providers: You can still submit Notices of Admission (NOAs) and Notices of Election (NOEs) during this period. If you feel the dark day period caused a late NOA/NOE submission, you must submit the appropriate supporting documentation with the associated final claim.
